After the freeze 2 weeks ago, plants still don't look great. But recovery is on the way. I'm posting some, hopefully, uplifting pictures today. But remember, you may see dieback still occurring on woody plants for a couple more months.

False blue indigo new growth
Carolina sweetshrub new leaves emerging where old ones were fried

It's wonderful to see new growth after the cold weather damage.
I am the Horticulture Agent in Pulaski County KY and the wife of a full-time farmer. My job is interesting but at home it's more interesting -- we raise hot and bell peppers for wholesale markets and mixed vegetables for the Farmers' Market. We also have several acres of strawberries and operate a CSA. Throw in a couple of kids, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a mess of chickens and that would complete our family.
