

This is called rose rosette virus. It is incurable and terminal. It's best to remove affected plants to protect others from getting the virus. It is transferred via mites.

I have this problem with my knockout rose bushes - I didn't know what was causing it. I hate to remove my plants but if there is no other way to control this, then I suppose I have to.
